The 13-storey Crowne Plaza London Albert Embankment will be adjacent to the Park Plaza Riverbank hotel.

The existing office building on the site, Wah Kwong House, has been vacant for a number of years.

Operating under a franchise agreement with Cannon Corporate UK, the the new hotel will have more than 142 guest rooms and a restaurant overlooking the River Thames.

The overall Project consists of the new build of a hotel at Albert Embankment, which has been partially completed by others but will ultimately provide the following:-

A 13 storey new hotel building composed of 142 keys with 2 basement levels, & a new roof level sky bar/leisure area. There are a number of variable rooms, consisting of Standard & Club finishes & junior & senior suites.

 • Basement L02 provides key plant areas & Back of House (BoH) offices for hotel staff, including mess facilities & senior management offices.

• Basement L01 provides further minor plant areas plus meeting rooms, gym, BoH storage & a residents/quality Club lounge.

 • Ground Floor providing the main Front of House (FoH) reception, bar, kitchen & restaurant areas. There is also the sub-station accommodated in the north corner           of the ground floor, adjacent to the hotel loading bay/delivery area which has a turntable to assist the movement of delivery vehicles.

• Roof terrace accessible via an external panoramic lift  

The works are to be procured with a bespoke Construction Management form of contract to enable an overlap of design & construction activities to suit the Client’s objectives & overlap with existing works on the project.
