F3GROUP has secured planning approval from Bristol City Council for a £45m student accommodation development in the Redcliffe area of Bristol.

The proposed scheme, which is due to be complete in the next two years, will support the regeneration of the town and provide:

  • 357 student beds (322 cluster apartments and 35 studios)
  • 320m2 student support facilities
  • 270m2 active ground commercial space

The existing post-war office building will be demolished, with the new development providing a strategically located student hub serving the University of Bristol.

Within the building there will be a main reception, large communal common rooms, meeting rooms, a courtyard, games rooms, management facilities, cycle racks, car park and laundry facilities. It is anticipated that the new development will be open in time for the 20/21 academic year.
