We are very proud to sponsor Gloucester Rugby club and humbled to have our CEO, Gavin Gleave, on the Board as Director and Shareholder. Once again, the club proved their talent on the pitch, making the finals of the European Challenge Cup where they played brilliantly against Cardiff Blues.
In summer 2017, the club reviewed their brand and values; this included a full audit, involving interviews with the Board, employees and players. The club came to the conclusion that changes to the brand, including the logo, were to be made. It is incredibly vital that the brand is protected for the future generations, and remains intrinsic in terms of the continual success of the club.
F3GROUP’s Non-Executive Director and Chairman at Gloucester Rugby, Martin St Quinton, stated:
“We want to be progressive and successful in the future, so what we are attempting to do now is find the balance between the past and the future. What matters the most to myself and to the fans, is how we move forward.”
After months of hard-work, Gloucester Rugby club are delighted to announce the new brand launch as of 15th May 2018. The new branding and logo will cascade throughout the club and gradually integrate across club communications and the home ground, Kingsholm Stadium.
The logo represents the team perfectly. The shield symbolises the history of the City of Gloucester. The cherry and white hoops remain the club’s core colours. The Lion continues to signify bravery and looks towards the future of the club. Finally, the proud history and heritage of Gloucester Rugby club since 1873 is highlighted.
